We were all so hopeful that Obama would bring the troops home. Steps were made to move us closer, but is excrutiatingly slow. I continue to hope that our military budget be slashed while our schools anticipate furlough days and our banks continue to cash in their federally insured mortgages from foreclosed homes and while the oil companies and health insurance companies profit from us who depend on them to get to work and to live. Or go off the grid and be free.
