David Tua is good, but would never have become a world champ. Had these two met a few years later, Ruiz would have gotten a decision, regardless of tactics.

ruiz would have been a great greco-roman wrestler, what a ripoff his fights were, guy did nothing but hug people, hands down biggest ripoff in boxing, if he wasnt hispanic he would have got no notice whatsoever

John Ruiz actually was a hassle for most fighters, especially as he got older. It would have been frustrating to fight a guy who threw two punch combinations and then held, round after round after round.
