As the 'American Dream' defines what Americans are, there doesn't seem to be a 'Japanese Dream' that is clearly defined. There is a Japanese identity but no cognitive direction for the country or its people. There is some vague desire to be a leader but without some focus a dream of what Japan is leading the world toward there is no direction. What do Japanese dream for the world's future?
