I never finished this game (never got much further than the mines) but I remember this Inn as the place where a way OP assassin beats the crap out of me.

OMG YES! That is sooo almost the same experience I had pretty much! Had to replay it many times because I didn't really understand RPGs that much.

Baldur's Gate = legend. The atmosphere in this game is second to none (this music is beautiful). Bill Gates ought to make it his first priority to make the next Windows OS compatible with BG. It's sad when works of art get lost. I'm hoping that won't happen to BG but I'm fearing it will. The IE games = the best games so far in gaming history.
