it's a shame the original line up split. even if stanier had stayed with page that would have been good enough. page still rocks out some sweet riffs though. long live page hamilton!

Page's voice has changed so much over the years and I think that is the biggest reason people don't like the new stuff. Imagine this song sung by 1992 Page Hamilton, it probably would be awesome.

When Betty came out so many people were pissed because Page didn't sing like he did on Meantime or Strap it on. I loved Betty, best album imo.

The best part of Helmet is that if I turn on anything from Meantime, young kids will get into them. Their earlier works are timeless and simply kick ass.

@LetsFeedit you may be right but 2 things I dare to say . 1 I think Page's musical vision is more experimental and conceptual than esthetically complient and the change was confirmed after the after taste..Because is not his vision and it wont work with the songs they play live. Monochrome confirmed what I'm saying, his careless vocals tells you is not about that anymore.

I hope you heared their nu material, he played some of it on his las visit to las Vegas and get ready is totally kick@55!

lol, now a days Helmet is like Queens of the stoneage with all these new members, but come on, helmet is amazing and will always be amazing even if page has different vocals any day i could appreciate Helmet's work.

my first concert was poison-1987-i was 9...saw helmet twice in the early 90's..would have seen them thrice but they had an auto accident....any comparison of the two is ignorant... so gald to see these guys still kickin ass!....
