An active storm cell was reported in SE Scotts Bluff County. It took roughly 45 minutes for this storm to build up as it formed in eastern Cheyenne, WY. However, by the time we were able to intercept it, it was crossing rough terrain in the Wildcat Hills reserve south of Gering and lost a large amount of energy and was dissipating fast. Luckily, the storm cell did stop a few miles west of the reserve and we were able to catch a few good photos of this beautiful storm, including a photo of a potential funnel cloud.
