Contrary to MrSmurf1207 this piece was an Impressionistic, not Romantic era composition and Kevin Proudfoot does a beautiful job.I played this almost fifty years ago and have been asked by my fraternity to play at our fifty year anniversary and this will be one of the selections I will play. I hope Kevin has continued his piano studies and is still presenting music of the great Masters for others to appreciate.
You have good technique, but it sounds as if you have a metronome in your ear that your playing in time with; put some rit and accel in it! The romantic period was all about pieces written purely with the idea of expressing emotion, and pushing the typical constraints from the classical era (dynamics, tonality, tempo, basically every concept), do the piece some justice by embracing this idea and push the dynamics and tempo fluctuations more!
nice!
