Very true! A good example. We had to remove some old pine trees for a bloke. One of the trees about 400 hundred metres away was struck by lightning. And the roots burnt for a week or so right up to the other tree. The one that was about 400 hundered away. And burnt it down!!! I took a crow bar to the dirt around the second burn't stump. And it all caved in i followed the caved hole right back to the other tree proving it burnt under the ground!!!!
