@Guichotpresident Dear Pedro, on the contrary YOU take it all too personally that ALL countertenors are falsettists and offended by this term. As I mention I'm not offended. Why are you offended by the word POP when it's true?! Some people think that Jackie Evancho is OPERA only because it's presented like that as a promotional move. Remember, a little girl pretending singing as a MATURE WOMAN or a mature man as a BOY FOR EVER is a FAKE from the classical point of view but can be good POP!

@Guichotpresident wHO makes more money and more popular? Of course, Aguilera, so she is greater than Callas? How about comparing Shalyapin with Sting? Actually both are great artists but from different categories but POP SINGERS will always make more money and will be more known all over the world if you like it or not but many still don't know that any PJ exists! He is number ONE for me and for many of HIS fans.If you say that you prefer much more Scholl or Daniels, or Cencic, etc. it's OK for me. Tastes differ but for God's sake don't compare Spanos or Lemos, or Taylor, etc. with POP singers! Why not with e.g. Justine Bieber then only because he makes even more MONEY, attacts more CROWD and praised by MORE CRITICS!How about Callas and Aguilera?

@Guichotpresident If Brightman and Jenkins sing operatic stuff in a POP STYLE but their promoters for money present it as TRUE OPERA just to attract more people still doesn't make them CLASSICAL SOPRANOS! I adore Bocelli as a POP singer but when he sings OPERA without proper technique, gusping for breath among real OPERA SINGERS just because there's such a shitty tendency nowadays to infiltrate a pop "virus" into opera for more MONEY I can't stand it and just express my opinion that he is POP!!!
