even tho ferrero has quite a simple game, so it does kinda get boring at times, i had always liked it. a pity that he so inconsistent, hes just fantastic when hes on. with his mosquito physique when hes on peak form, its almost like rafa at his best, except he hits so clean and flat when he needs to.

Federer in that period was just too good. You could play the match of your life and still lose.

best Ferrero could possible play, still not quiet enough! A little like AO 2007 i think it was where Gonzales played his best tennis by beating nadal in the semi and then lose to fed in the final!

ferrero's forehand is very lethal. i think that's the reason why he's called "the mosquito". he has the ability to sting you on the court

epic match, the level is that of a grand slam final. it is great to see how often federer charged the net back in the day, plus a reminder to everyone the tennis that JCF was capable of playing.
