Go to http://www.mmobomb.com for the best free MMORPG and MMO Games!

Our editors and directors provide commentary as they play through the first minutes of uninterrupted gameplay. MMO games are generally huge and always updating so the goal of the video is just to give a little taste and share the first impressions of the game. A "First Look" is not a review or a display of gameplay skills.

  • @Cowinspace yeah i learned it already im a lvl 42 Lower halph Admieral

  • For a free MMO, I totally love playing it! I played back in the beta version and a free 30 day trial and I gotta say they have made some vast improvements. The starship selection and purchase menus are better, you can purchase shuttles, you have the option to chose any vessel regardless of your officer type, plus the customization of your ship and crew is a lot cheaper if you have energy credits. So if you messed up with your uniform you can change for less! Great Game!

  • In space combat the spacebar is your friend. It will fire all available energy weapons at your target. Ctrl+Space will fire all projectile weapons and Alt+Space will fire all weapons.

  • @123gaje Yes, the science class does buffing, debuffing and healing.

  • Chipz is not doing more first looks?

  • star trek online have buffs?

  • and then you have got the crew (somehow you get them around leve 5 i guess). Each member has unique traits and skills and you need to manage tasks properly. For example you can't send peaceful guy for a military mission because he might fail, get himself or others injured or killed. I don't know if those guys develop themselves in the process. If you manage properly espionage missions you might get a higher espionage rank, but there are others, diplomatic, military, trade, science, development..

  • to sum up the gameplay - RPG- you develop yourself and your crew. You choose between scientist, tactical or engineer. You have got accolades which are perks/traits mixed with achievements, you can choose your own unique traits, you distribute exp for ground fighting, science and engineering cathegories, and sometimes you unlock new attacks and moves (like in mass effect 1). Then you have got you main officers, you need to distribute exp for them also, sometimes you need to teach them etc.

  • if you like complex games with man management space sim, shooter and rpg elements then this game is for you. It is really complex, has lots of statistics and it takes some time to get a hang of it. Forget about quick flashy shootout. You have different kind of missions, some of them are recon, some are diplomatic, some are trade supervision missions (of course with some shooting, but still with a lot of talking). It doesn't get boring, but its getting harder when you get lt commander
