I had a c-section (emergency) for my first and am going to have one for my second and although the recovery time is longer, the surgeons do all the hard work. It is painful though but thank god for Morphine!
The Morphine just completely stoned me out but I had no sickness with it. I know it can make people feel very ill.

i had to have one cause of a mecoline leak at 33+4 weeks and yes the morphine they give u makes u sick
i was bring up water after 6 hours think they hydrated me too mutch but i was limping about and took 4 days to walk normal and 4 weeks to be able to move without pain killers
i dont recomend a c section if u can avoid it a vaginal birth is way way better and allot less pain and faster recovery iv got 3 lads so know what i mean.
as for the scar im lucky u cant see mine hardy now.
