The 1959 FA Cup Final was Nottingham Forest's first major trophy success in the post war years, the team rose to the occasion, defeating Luton Town 2-1 in a rollercoaster encounter.

With just 15 minutes on the clock, Forest had moved into a two goal lead thanks to strikes from Roy Dwight and Tommy Wilson, the latter of whom was in a rich vein form which proved to be the most prolific season of his career. But in an era where substitutes had not been introduced the injury sustained by goal scorer Roy Dwight would swing the momentum towards the Hatters, which led to a pulsating and fascinating final hour of football.

Forest won out, and Burkitt climbed the hallowed steps of Wembley to lift the famous trophy for just the second time in the club's history; an achievement that hasn't been replicated by Forest since.

Enjoy the full 90 minutes of this famous and treasured football match on this special commemorative DVD with commentary from the late, great, Kenneth Wolstenholme.
