wouldnt a .308 or 30-06 just tear through his leg? the M14 actually works, i mean all it is essentually an M1 garand with a longer barrel and a detachable magazine. nice ALICE packs too. great movie.

At least get the hair styles right, but everything else is well done. The shadowing, the acting, it all suffices. It's also good to hear a German soldier talk about Japan being the reason why America joined the war. Nice Iron Cross 2nd class ribbon too, I always wondered how that was put onto a German uniform. My only gripe is the hair - should've been cut short, but still very good film bit.
