He was named after his father, Ernest Kador Sr. Wid da N'awlins pronunciation, Kador sounds like Kado' (as the surname "Moore" is often pronounced "Mo"). Thus, phonetically, Ernie K-Doe is how his actual name would be pronounced wid a N'awlins accent. As for the music- gimme some mo"!! ( "Aint' nobody in the woild like Ernie K-Doe- I'm a Chariddy Hospital baby!!)
