I need help...I'm making a simple slideshow, but I need to edit and trim my photo's to make them fit to the music, right? Well my entire edit bar (except for the duration of the photo) is grey, and I can't edit my video at all! Please tell me how to fic this..?

why did they get rid of the timeline? i feel so limited with windows live movie maker.

Does anyone know how to add a picture to a video clip? Like, make it small and put it on the video clip in the corner? I tried the 'add video and photos' icon, but that just added a photo AFTER the video clip. And, I clicked the caption button and tried pasting the photo in the text box, but that didn't work either. D:

@YuThePichu Unfortunately you can't speed up video clips in the current version of Windows Live Movie Maker, but that feature is now available in the new Windows Live Beta. You can download the Beta here:

i only downloaded WLMM cos i coud make HD vid's because i hav windows 7 and had to have WMM 2.6, but the option on WLMM are so oimted compared to the normal one and it was way easier to edit vid's, and if you only want one part of a song you cant, u have to hav it from the beginning.

@TakeTheMikey1995 You can actually change a song's start point from the "Set Start Point" option in the "Music Tools" menu. Hope this helps!

i have this one to now, but i like the story board of the wondows live messenger from before more, does anyone know how i can turn it back, but still have the new version?

@liskeylis Sorry, but the only mode supported in Windows Live Movie Maker is Storyboard.
