  • @valgez1 Haha, you insist on this punching, are you a wanker or something? Compare the two styles - who can keep longer distance and stil hitting? Can a boxer hold more than 2-3 lowkicks? Stop explaining shits man.

  • @valgez1 No, not hardly, but absolutely, you jealous semite. You've herd homosexual stories cause you want to listen such, haha! Your defected grandparents did nothing anyway, just killing palestinian children. That's the best you can do. And make difference, you illiterate dumb, between fascit and nazi. And why not you come in Bulgaria, I've nothing to do in your desert shit among inferior semites. You, virtual troll and no-lifer.

  • TAEKWONDO IS BETTER

  • @freeRadical16

Dickhead... the gloves are the same. You have obviously never seen a Muay Thai match from this century.

  • @pastropmal As a former practitioner of shotokan for many years i agree with your statement. I have trained with many shotokan karateka who are walking weapons, who trained under a stricter regimen and practiced the old style of kumite no mitts ippon only, head contact was allowed and also with many who have the rank but are not really fighters. Shotokan was never meant to be a fighting system per se but more of a physical culture/education system, that explains the popularity in my opinion.

  • @GamerJelly Boxers wear giant gloves, Muay Thai fighters don't. End of discussion.

  • @MultiZON123 I know (as anyone who has any knowledge in karate knows) that Shotokan can be affective. But one of the reasons/results for it being the most popular style in the world is that it is not practiced affectively (now days and in most dojos) .

  • @GamerJelly I disagree. Muay Thai fighters are hell of a kickers. Kicks have more reach than punches. Thaiboxers have good conditioning too, they can take hits very well. Of course, with boxing rules the boxer would win.

  • Don't forget George St. Pierre...Kyokushin trained, as well

  • @GamerJelly Your stupid, using combined techniques punch+punch+kick to the head and the boxer will go down. You must be really ignorant if you'd think a boxer would be able to handle the legs, and what would the boxer do if they Thai boxer would clinch and put several knees to the head. End of discussion

  • @Icantfeeeeeelit I never said it was superior in that way...

I said "In terms of practicallity" it is superior.

Put a Muay Thai fighter in a ring with a Boxer and the boxer would win.

Why? Think of how many punches Boxers take before they go down, some don't even go down and could take more. Think of how fast Muay Thai fighters go down.

Boxers are typically physically stronger, tougher and have faster reflexes. This is what i meant my Practicallity

  • i always thought gloves were used to minimize injury for the opponent. But it was actually to prevent hand injury ;)
