This origami video shows how to make a simple dove-like bird. I then go on to show you how to turn it into a hanging decoration. This would be great as a Christmas tree ornament or some other holiday decoration to represent peace.

ok, try this... at 0:30s when you have that square diamond shape, pause the video. Take the left and right tips / corners of the diamond and fold them in towards the middle. You'll want the tips to fold a little bit past the middle line. Make a good crease and then unfold. You've just made a guide line that will help you do the next step... you should be able to press play and continue with the rest of the fold.

i have doves hanging from my ceiling and its easier to fold and it looks better :/ also i just use cotton to hang it from the ceiling by threading it through the dive and knott at the end
