I think this proves that the original line-up of Utopia is the best American Prog Band. When you consider what Utopia was up against in terms of artistry and pushing the envelope (namely Styx, Kansas, and Starcastle), they were way more progressive than the rest. And don't say Rush, their Canadian.

I'm a sucker for this kind of "Triumphant" music. I listen to the Utopia Theme and The Ikon every single day.
I like how Todd one day just decided to try his hand at "prog rock" and produced this classic album that is far more listenable today than much of the output of YES, King Crimson, Genesis, ELP, Gentle Giant or the rest of that crowd.

TODD n'est même pas dans la liste des 100 meilleurs guitariste de tous les temps éditée par le magazine Rolling Stone.
Mais quand on voit dans cette liste Zappa à la 45ème place ou Steve Howe à la 69ème et dans le même temps Kurt Cobain à la 12ème place (il ne devrait même pas être là) on se dit qu'ils n'avaient pas fumer que du tabac le jour où ils l'ont faites.
