Bondi Beach Boy Blue,written by Ballinrobe native Benny McDonnell is a play about Declan, a promising young kilkenny hurler who leaves the misty shores of Ireland behind in search of a new life down under, leaving his family and team mates behind. Bondi Beach Boy deals with the issues facing Declan, the relationships with the important people in his life and the set of problems he ran away from in Ireland.
Showing at The Smock Alley Theatre Temple Bar from
6th to 11th October and then hitting the road and calling into Lanctons Kilkenny, Cuba in Galway and concluding in Ballinrobe.
