Pressured - Short Film (2006)

Pressured was filmed from September - October 2006 in The Oldershaw School. It was the centrepiece of a school assembly which was created by my class on the subject of bullying. It was also the first proper film made by Final Move Films.

The film stars Sam Pritchard as an under-achieving boy who is constantly being picked on and harassed by his schoolmates. The ringleader of the bullies, played by Kaz Worrall, takes it too far one day during detention. Despite the best efforts on Sam's only real friend, played by Matthew Campbell, Kaz takes the bullying over the edge - literally - and kills Sam by tipping him over a balcony. It is in this shocking moments that his fellow bullies realise the gravity of the incident, and they turn on Kaz - chasing him through the school with only revenge on their mind ...

Pressured was very well recieved by the school and garnered many positive reviews. I can look back on it now with great memories but I can also see where I went wrong. It was a great learning curve for me as a director and I am getting much better, and can only improve upon that.

Haha, it's funny looking back at this and now looking at where you guys are at today; for some reason I haven't seen this one. Favorite part was from 2:58-3:14, that was hilarious.

its sad.. but best way to avoid this is to change schools, i changed schools like 4 times and last school = i was happy in it
