The third guy is Robert Schwartzman from the band Rooney. He's related to the Coppola family, and appeared in the first Princess Diaries movie. Just a little trivia for you, in case you're interested. :)
I never even knew this song until I saw this tribute concert. Now I like the original but this version is really special. Sean and Rufus certainly have their moments of musical brilliance, and this is one of them. Rufus' voice isn't always great in really large doses for me, but it seems to add something to this song. I was impressed with Sean's solo bit too.
wait...no Moby in this one! He did sing Across the Universe with Sean and Rufus at the same concert...so...but he obviously didn't sing on this one. I don't know who the third one is then...but anyways nice song.
what a PERFECT song Sean chose to do for that concert. Kinda reminds me of when they did "I Need You" at the concert for George. Both are love songs about missing someone that's gone, and since John and George are sorely missed the songs can take on another meaning. Sean would've made his dad proud if he could see that performance (you never know maybe he can...) and Rufus and Moby both sound great, too.
i never get tired of this video...
his dad would've loved it, i'm sure!

What? Sean is an excellent singer. His voice is just very different from the others.

All I can hear is Rufus and the guitar.
And he's fucking amazing, as usual.
