  • @somniumconspirator I am listening to him in this particular congregation. If a preacher said the same thing about "black preachers" that person would definately be considered a racists, or at the least would have been "stereotyping"...but as usual...a double standard on who can say what, take Dr. Laura for instance, simply quoting what black's say, and basically had to resign her post. We are now in a post racial time, with a slight lean towards those of color

  • @luvemliam Again, I don't think he meant anything racist by it. Of course he wasn't saying white preachers don't have what it takes to do it. I guess in his experience, he hasn't seen a white preacher who could do it. Not that they can't, but in his own experience no one was able to or was capable of it. Campolo is anything but racist. Listening to his sermons, you should know he isn't.

  • @somniumconspirator "If you're a white preacher don't try this.." Clearly Campolo is partial or doesn't feel "white preachers" have what black ones do....I have heard many preachers....some very theatrical and some more scholarly....didn't realize till now one was better than the other, clearly "black preaching" is better in Campolo's eyes....and clearly if we are looking for unity....its not in the church!

  • @luvemliam Come on, you know that he didn't mean anything racist by it. He meant a church that had a black-majority congregation and a black reverand. How else was he supposed to say it?

  • Thats the problem with America. Racism even in reverse stinks. An "African American Church"? There should be no such thing. Dumb ass religious people!

  • meh hehe

    WOW thats pretty stupid mT
