In this video lesson, we'll be going over the irregular verb 'estar' (to be). We use this verb for feelings/emotions, locations and for the -ING (progressive) tenses.

In this video we'll learn how to talk about our emotions and tell where we are located.

Enjoy!

*Author's note*
As we established in video 01001, 'así-así' could mean 'so-so/ok' but you might find 'más o menos' more common.

  • at 5:05 It says Cómo estás tú? Doesn't that mean ''How are you you''?

  • @JokersMX650

    Sure.

  • Hi, I have a question..at 5:20 when you ask "como estoy yo" aren't you saying "how am I (feeling)?", and how come the answer is "Estas feliz (you are happy) "..? I thought it will be "Estoy feliz" as if in english " how am i feeling? i feel great" that kind of response.

  • @anjolynn

I'm not asking how 'you are feeling'... with which you would respond 'I am fine' (you --> I)

I am asking how 'I am feeling' which you would respond with 'you are ___'" (I-->you)

you wouldn't answer with 'I' unless you're the same person as me.

  • VOSOTROS ESTAIS vosotros estais VOSOTROS ESTAIS
