MY ANGEL FISH HAD BABIES RECENTLY AND I AM TRYING MY BEST TO KEEP THEM ALIVE. SO FAR THEIR FINS ARE SHOWING OUT OF THEIR SHELLS AND ITS AN AMAZING FEELING. I AM SO EXCITED I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THEY GROW UP TO LOOK LIKE. AND TO SEE HOW THEY GET ALONG WITH THEIR PARENTS. IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE TO GIVE ME PLEASE TELL ME. I HAVEN'T HAD ANGEL FISH BEFORE. I'M NEW AT THIS ANGEL FISH THING.

  • -White eggs means that they are unfertilized or have been attacked by fungus, this can be dealt with by dosing some methylene blue to protect the eggs from being attacked.

-The pair are extremely protective, that is why they are aggresively swimming towards you.

-You will have a better chance in keeping the spawn alive if you have no gravel, as wrigglers can get trapped and eventually die.

-Your misleading people with your wrong facts.

-Get them a better spawning surface for better survival.

  • u r not the smartest angelfish breeder thats for sure because tapping the glass and them following u is not how they r. they hear this loud noise and get agressive because their parental skills make them overly protective. somethings that will help you from getting eggs sucked into your filter is A: purchase a real or plastic amazon sword plant, a terra cotta pot and place it upside down, or a stone slate and lean it against the tank for they love to lay their eggs on vertical surfaces
