This video includes all studio albums by The Rolling Stones, from the first album simply titled "The Rolling Stones" from 1964, to their last album "A Bigger Bang" from 2005. During their Decca/London period, I chose to only feature the Decca albums and not the exclusive US albums.

I didn't include live albums, compilation albums or EP's.

There are short clips of song from each album played in the background. The sound effect used before and after the albums is the song "Grey Stripe" by Aphex Twin.

Hope you like the video, and please comment, favorite or subscribe! And give your opinion about the best album in the comments!

  • yeah...50 years...of kings of rock.

  • @theulv I usually go by the U.S. studio releases. 24 albums by that count. 10 in the 60's, 6 in the 70's, 5 in the 80's, 2 in the 90's, and A Bigger Bang in 2005. The track listings of the UK versions of Aftermath and Between the Buttons however are definitely superior.

  • I wish heart of stone was on the American version of out of our heads :(

  • Miss you was the dance hit.

  • Shattered was there top song. Disco was in and it was a great top room dance song.

  • does anyone know what the name of their 90s acoutic album was called?

  • The Stones sucked after the 70's were over.

  • Wow great collection. I love all sixties and seventies of Stones. Great album Beggars, Let it bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile.

On your collection I add Flowers with Ruby Tuesday.

  • If you are a devotee of 'seventies music, then check out the book 'An Essential Guide To Music In The 1970s' by Johnny Zero.
