Jefferson Parish Sheriff respond to a Shooting in Harvey | 09/24/09

On September 24th 2009, a couple returning home from Boomtown Casino in Harvey, LA noticed a man lying in the street. While the witness was no the phone with 9-1-1. Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Deputy "2C6" happened to come upon them and was flagged down by the witnesses.

The recording indicates that they were initially unable to tell how the injuries had occurred. It was later confirmed that the victim has suffered a single gunshot to the face, taking out his left eye.
