  • Just a thought, when airplanes take off they make noise. Most pilots go out of their way to reduce noise as much as possible, but they do still make some noise... That is why you should not buy a home next to an airport unless you are a pilot, willing to live with the noise or hearing impaired... I am sure the airport was there long before you were lady, quit whining!

  • Yes, I would imagine that the folks living next to Flying Cloud Airport who were there before it was built in 1941 have every right to be outraged over the noise.

  • There's nothing like standing up the throttles to maximum power and hurtling down the runway and into the sky, giving gravity the finger. =)

  • To all those posting that we should put up with the noise do not get the issue! There is a noise ordinance that is in place for flights between 10pm and 7am....this is about a major corp (MAC) doing what they want without any type of consequence. What we are asking for is MAC & FCM to abide by the ordinance! Do some research before you make a statement!!

  • Glad you can tell time. I agree. These joggers nike's slapping the pavement makes quite a bit of early morning noise. Jogging before 9am should be outlawed
