  • bravo çok siztemli ve disiplinli çalışmalar.. Tebrik ederim.. 5. Dan Aikido Sensei

  • @ToniMattTony

Having practiced with her personally and defended my life using Aikido, I can safely say that the only one being fooled here is you. At 5' 9" and over 200 pounds at the time, the woman had no difficulty throwing me head height and 3-5 yards in any direction she wished. Without her and others I practiced Aikido with, I would not be alive today. Thank you Sensei.

  • This is what's the problem with this world, everyone is quick to judge from what they see or what they've read rather than understanding the art and accepting it for what it is and that's the Art of Peace.

It seems to me humanity has not understand the Art of Peace because there's still killing, hurt, destruction, terrorism and war happening now.

  • @ToniMattTony

gozo shioda sensei,9th dan aikido, was involved in a confrontation with 3 yakuza.

he broken one guys leg, anothers arm,and finished another with an atemi to the stomach.

believe me,aikido works, just trying to see a demonstration of the martial side of the art is difficult.

  • To be fair, anyone who doubts Aikido, go and look at Iwama Ryu style. Then you won't have any doubts.

  • @thermaldog Oh!! and if you do say your in MMA I don't buy it. Like I said I've trained with them and none of them would have written what you did.

  • @Thermaldog Allow me to make this clear. Unless you are in the martial arts your comments are irrelevant. Hours of watching UFC and wearing Tap Out gear does not qualify you to comment. Nor does one or two years of part time training. I've trained for 16 years in karate. I've rolled and trained with a BJJ team and helped work and spar with someone going pro. Currently I'm working on my 4th year in aikido. Step onto the mat and show what you have!

  • aikido is do fake, its a fuckin pantomime

  • I don't know why everyone feels the need to compare the art they practice to everything else. From what I have seen is that there is NO martial art that is better to others. And as for Aiki not working in a street fight... It does work, and it works well. What would make it not work is the person trying to do it not understanding how it really works....

  • I'm surprised at the comments by supposed judoka. Any real judoka I have met would find your comments shocking and insulting. I would encourage you to learn about Kenshiro Abbe and try to match his record in judo and aikido if you dare. Then make all the comments you wish. Until then be respectful study hard and hope for a sliver of insight, and you may end up 1% as good as he was.
