A Behind-the-scenes docu on how the "HBO Starship" intro from the 1980's was created. Taped off HBO in 1983 and captured from an old VHS tape.

In all honesty, I seriously thought the HBO Starship and Lights were early CG. But wow, to do that back in 1982-83, that is fucking brilliant. The city too, is exceptional, having that eagle-eye detail. Tony, Ferdinand, Reid, Dave, and Jim really outdid themselves, above and beyond
