How did you build your ceiling for so cheap? I just bought my first house and would love to do exactly what you did to my basement. AKA, "the man cave" as my fiance' calls it.

How high were ceilings before you installed the coffer? We have standard 8ft ceilings and I wonder if we can coffer ours and have it look as nice as yours. Hmm..

@paperkite03 the ceilings were 9' 3" before the project.
If you have an 8' ceiling, I'd probably limit my crown moulding to around 4"...and a "grid of about 5 1/2 inch....it'll still look good. Go for it, good luck !!
