Coach Tony Collier: Assist.Coach of Melrose High School and Head Coach of Memphis Trotters 13u AAU

PM (Proud Memphian) Hoops covers Memphis Basketball from top to bottom. As we expand and venture into other areas of the map, our primary focus will always remain on the Basketball hotbed of Memphis,TN. Not only will PM hoops cover the areas best ballers on all levels of the game, we will also talk to coaches, trainers, and the "Movers & Shakers" of the Local Basketball Scene.
PM Hoops kicks off the first in a series of interviews titled "The Coaches Meeting". These interviews will focus on the coaches that direct these young men on and off the court. Our first, will be Tony Collier,25, of Memphis, Tn. Coach Tony is the head coach of the Memphis Trotters 13u 7th Grade AAU basketball program and serves as assist. coach at Melrose High School under another young and talented coach, Jermaine Johnson. Melrose finished the 09-10 season as TSSAA State Basketball Champs and ranked 11th in the Nation by Maxprep.com. Coach Tony discusses the feeling of winning the State, his Memphis Trotters, and the importance of giving all youth a chance to realize their potential.
