About the video:
The Wapiti Bull is part of a herd of Wapiti/Elk on a Game farm 15 mins out of North Battleford, Saskatchewan. This particular Bull called Buddy obviously had good people skills as was in some respects the Pet of the place. Very intimidating to have this huge animal just waltz up to you the first time I ever saw him - but all he wanted was an apple!

  • thats my buddy :)

  • @thehuntingbabe your the second one to tell me that!

  • Anyone who really loves these animals should be crusading against hunting of any kind of them.

  • Yeah well I really love these animals - I can't think of anything better to have with gravy and mashed potatos.

  • Elk hunters are among the people that love this animal the most and we donate money every year to RMEF for habitat conservation, along with purchasing hunting licenses. Don't make the mistake of thinking that just because we pursue this EXTREMELY difficult animal to hunt that we don't love and respect them, it is for more than just mere sport, it is for meat and the challenge of hunting one of nature's most elusive animals. It feels good to know one can provide meat for himself.

  • that just blows my mind. i would be scared shitles to be that close, no matter if he was raised by humans or not. AMAZING video though. hahaha

  • @EndSportsHunting Anyone who knows about ecology and the environment knows that every prey species needs a predator to keep the prey population in check. its called carrying capacity and the wolves that once maintained it are no longer around so people take their place.

  • @StagsRoar bite me

  • @EndSportsHunting helps regulate population. i truley love em but hunt them to help regulate population, its just part of the process.

  • @roelke77 I want to eat them and have differant flavors like corn or grain fed.ya beer and masages like those Jap cows...Mmmmmm
