I live in Charleston, WV and the winner of this season, Kris Allen, is coming to play at something we call Live on the Levee this summer. Its basically just a stage built on the Kanawha River. Wow, he really went places!! LOL

And you do realize that on American Idol you don't get to do an original song, you HAVE to do a song that's already been recorded. It's up to the contestant to put their own spin on the song; Adam was always coming up with original ways to bring something new to a song. Gary Jules was actually a cover version---check out Tears for Fears version from the early 80's, theirs is the original and it's an upbeat pop song with a fast sound to it.

He didn't do a cover of Donnie Darko's version. he did a cover of Gary Jules' version

Lol don't let it piss you off. I think he got way more famous and successful than any of the winners on American Idol (other than Cary Underwood). Kris Allen won and where is he now? Meanwhile Adam Lambo is still making platinum records and performing and touring all over the world.

I agree completely. I'm so sick of every time I click on an Adam Lmabert video seeing all these comments about his sexuality preferance. He's a musician... what does him being gay have to do with anything? It shouldn't even be mentioned in his music performances. If he was a porno star then yeah, no big deal. I'm personally a Christian and I don't have one problem with him being gay, he's one of the best vocalist in the world. If I don't have a problem with it, no one should.

Odd that you say that when it was on in Time Magazine's top 10 songs for 2009 and Gary Jules thought it was beautiful. Do a Google search for "Mad World’ singer Gary Jules calls Adam Lambert’s cover ‘unique and beautiful’" It also hit #19 on the Billboard Hot 100. So I think you're in the minority.
