  • sooo... they started making bluetooth headsets cuz we shouldn't have cell phones too close to our heads cuz of harmless waves blah blah... isn't that like a huge cell phone in your home frying you're brain??

  • No, it's not. If you wore it in your hat all day, that would be a different story. I don't know what passes for fashion where you live, but I don't think too many people will be wearing these bad boys....

  • my question is if there is less signal inside the office , why can't just move on to another network??

  • Because of many reasons. Contracts, corporate requirements, the phone you want to use....

  • This model is the old one.....The new one doesn't have a glossy panel.

  • I don't think it can be used through wireless internet...just through your router or DSL/Cable etc.

  • @EddieRolonJr Yes? Why the dell wouldn't it?

  • @atlaschooty Or as in my situation where I live we dont have good cell signal with any carrier

  • will this work on the iphone4?

  • i got it working in Canada!!

  • We have this at my house because we live in an extended network area with a local company that is gay and wont let verizon build towers in this area, so other towns with alltel towers got there towers boosted and that caused a problem for people in my town because verizon and alltel phones kept switching from Nemont to alltel and the signal is so weak that we couldnt do anything on our phones and it drained battery. This works great, but had to bump up dsl speed. and data speeds very slow on it.

  • we got this extender awhile ago and it's worked fine, up until last week when i was cleaning around the area and suddenly the top SYS light started blinking red. this has happened before so i unplugged everything and plugged it back in, but then the SYS and the GPS light were solid red. i've done everything i can to fix it and i still haven't gotten my service back in a week. i've called verizon numerous times and they've been of no help. i'm really starting to get fucking agitated. help please.

  • Um, retransmit to a local cell tower? That makes no sense. Doesn't this device rout your calls into your broadband service using a VoIP protocol? If not, WTF is the ethernet port for?

  • New units provide 3G signal.

Mine work excellent - five bars, full 3G signal in an area were there was no signal before.
