Thanks dude, I thought they sounded the same as well.
-
I had a broken speaker in my bass cabinet and put it on craigslist to see what I could get for it.
Guy said "this chorus pedal's just been sitting in a drawer for 20 years, take it."
MIJ Black Label CE-2. Got 200 for it on ebay. It was a great day.

I hate you. I was hoping to sell my 1983 MIJ Ce-2 for a million dollars to some sucker on Ebay. Now I'm going to have to find another way to get rich. DIE DIE DIE. :)

They're very close but the Taiwan sounds a little more open.
-
MIJ has slightly thicker sound than MIT. it's just a personal taste but i prefer MIJ thou
-
I guess I'm deaf because the both sound EXTREMELY close to me....
-
I have an '83 MIJ and a '91 MIT.
I have A-B'd them extensively.
They're identical.
-
Absolutely. - and thinner. Some people are just deaf.
ALSO: Which MIJ version is this? The classic 3007 chip or the later 3207? That's evidently quite important.

They're practically identical.

i wouldnt pay for the more expensive one.. but the newer version seemed to be brighter. some people would describe it as more artificial sounding.. i liked the older MIJ sound though.
