(From rushlimbaugh.com):
Back when she was with UPI, Helen Thomas asked some amazing questions of then-President Clinton. We rolled video of Helen quizzing Clinton on the May 25, 1994 episode of Rush Limbaugh the TV Show. The subject was foreign policy, and in what would become known as the Clinton Style, Bubba blamed George H. W. Bush for all the problems that still existed in the world. This guy never took responsibility for anything that went wrong.
Rush rolled Clinton talking about how "aggressively" he would tackle foreign policy, and then rolled George Bush the Elder talking about how a president must lead. At the time the audience was cheering. Today, our feelings are more like anger. Bill Clinton came to office saying that foreign policy didn't matter, and that by feeling the pain of domestic issues he would massage his ego and legacy. The bitter fruit of that foolishness is clear: three new members of the nuclear club, a Mideast in shambles, and a smoldering hole at the end of Manhattan island.
Funny how today many liberals claim that it's a republican thing to accuse the predecessor. One of my favorite authors, J.C. Hutchins, ended a brilliant novel with a stupid and childish accusation, as if Clinton is always being accused of anything bad that happened after Jan. 2001. As if the other side never does that. Clinton never did that. Obama never did that. Bush isn't blamed for global warming and storms(I remember storms during the Clinton-Gore years).
