Thanks Rachel; no I don't. I'd like to if I could find the time. You inspire me to write some orginals. I have a custom Martin HD-28 being made. Soon I'll have and and write some songs that ring in my heart. I appreciate your warmth.

Superb! nice heartfelt version. Bit more folksy than the original, am i right? like a small town localised version, sung down in the south in the months and years following the War. Excellent stuff. That song is both timeless and yet resolutely belongs to the Civil War era.
did you sing 'my brother before me' ? I always took it as his older brother 'my brother above me'.
