Mechanical Thrillogy: Mechanical Love

Romance is so good and pure. Unfortunately for robots, it's an unfamiliar feeling. What happens when robots try to win each others' love?

Update part 2: Ouat Media decided they didn't like our film, 'cause it's not "DARK" enough. Bah.

Mechanical Love is the third movie in a trilogy (more like THRILLogy, am I right?) of movies made by a trio of friends (Aaron Kurtzer, David Henderson, Wayne Bradbury) in a Writer's Craft class at Almaguin Highlands Secondary School.

Mechanical Love was featured at the Toronto Student Film Festival in 2007; one of only twenty-six featured at the event, chosen from hundreds of films, submitted from all over the planet. There probably weren't any from like, Antarctica, though. Just sayin'.

It was also displayed at the Algonquin College "FilmArt" film festival in March 2010.

The other two short films (Mechanical and Mechanical: History Repeats Itself) will be up on YouTube in the near future, but first, we need to touch them up, or maybe even re-film them.

As a side note, we plan to continue the Mechanical series for the foreseeable future, and beyond, until we're old, crippled men with poorly designed robot costumes fashioned out of a bedpan and stray spaghetti noodles stolen from our roommates!
