Yeah, billa, I used the intro to "Time Out Of Mind" on my very first phone answering machine back in the early '80s. I was so set on raising the musical IQ of everyone who dialed that number. The other Dan song that really oozes cool for me is "Chain Lightning" off the "Katy Lied" LP. Only Becker and Fagen could write a "cool" song about Hitler.

Why does Fagen allow Becker to ruin everything with his guitar playing when Herrington (I believe his name is), could totally be 199 times better? Please do not respond to this post, as I've noticed there's simply just 99% group think out there with absolute no born pitch, and mostly dead ear syndrome. So Bottom line Long Live Donald Fagen.
