  • i asked because i am from new york and always wanted to go to australia.just wanted to know if melbourne is a nice place to visit. thanks.john

  • Melbourne is a really nice city. I find it more spacious compared to Sydney but Sydney has it's nice points too such as the harbour. Personally I prefer Melbourne but that's just me!. :)

  • what year was this documentary made?

  • I think it was done somewhere around 2001 - 2002. The whole thing still hasn't seen the light of day!

  • @wcboy1962 are you from melbourne?

  • No, I'm actually from Sydney but I actually do spend a lot of time in Melbourne. What made you ask?

  • Thanks so much for this!!!!!!

  • @wcboy1962 Well Melbourne is a reasonably nice, if quiet, city. Of course, nearly all the Prisoner filming locations are in Melbourne. I'm sure there are websites with comprehensive lists of filming locations.

  • It's Maggie K! When Joan wasn't in the prison, she was a nice lady, she loved and protected children from the baddies.

  • b smith isnot so tough in real life , i think i can beat her up in a one to one fight ! i loved watch prisoners cell block H , in the uk , the aussies make good films

  • @wcboy1962 I grew up in Brisbane, but Melbourne is *by far* my favorite city in Australia. I find it more culturally interesting and unique than Sydney, and more beautiful than Brisbane. Go there :)

  • thanks for letting me know
