why you should not buy anything from signaturehardware.com

I purchased a shower Rod from Signature Hardware. It was priced at least 50% over any other similar shower rods available from any other merchants. When it arrived from Signature Hardware, I saw how terrible the quality was and how it was so different from the description on line at www.SignatureHardware.com. Signature Hardware sells two piece shower roads, where one piece slides into the other piece. They tell you that, this way, it can be cut to fit (then, you cannot return it because you cut it!). The problem is, the two pieces are very, very loose and shake around in there. I had the item mounted and the shower curtain is severely sagging, because of the loose connection between the two pieces. Furthermore, where the rod mounts to the brackets that get screwed to the wall, it is loose there as well.




The whole thing shakes like San Francisco during an earthquake.




Lastly, the diameter of the bar is much smaller than other similar products.




The worst thing is Signature Hardware fails to stand behind their products. What Signature Hardware does is ship you the faulty item then Signature Hardware refuses to take it back. I had the misfortune to deal with Kate K. of Signature Hardware. Kate K. was extremely rude the whole time, refusing to take the over priced, faulty item back or provide me with any type of service or even a small nominal credit at all.




I strongly recommend no one purchase anything from Signature Hardware (also known as Clawfoot Supply) because Signature Hardware has terrible customer service and terrible products.




There are much better places to find your bathroom materials than Signature Hardware.

I think it is funny that this video was posted years ago, thousands of views, and signature hardware finally woke up to the internet and is having their drone employees post these bull sh!t lies. Give me a break people. signature hardware is full of cheap chinese made garbage, high prices, and lying employees.

I am a small plumbing contractor who has installed numerous products from Signature Hardware. The only thing that I think they have to offer that is half way desent is their bathtubs, but kind of hard to screw them up. Their faucets and other function bath fixtures are truely made of lower quality. I know every plumber that I have talked to thinks the products are poor. I know my company and others will install them, but will not warranty anything the second we leave the job.

I have used them several times quality is about the same as local big box stores, I have had a balanced shower valve installed for about a year and the hand sprayer started leaking. I called today the lady asked me to take off the handle and blow it out to see if that would clear any dirt.

This didnt work so I called back left her a message and she responded via email telling me the part was on the way. about 6 hours later I got shipping info.

You cannot get better service than that.

thats funny, i was looking for installation tips on a curved shower rod and i happened to get it from signature hardware, then this video happened to catch my eye. i havent installed it yet though. i guess we will see what happens.

I order from Signature all the time. Two of my bathrooms are fully outfitted w/ products from them. Never had trouble with quality or the time I needed to make an exchange. If the rod cost 50% more, why did you buy it? Some people (perhaps even you) are simply not qualified to perform event the simplest of DIY tasks. It is sad when they take it out on the supplier of the product.

You sound like one of those DIY people that don't have a clue about what they are doing. Because your ego is bigger than your house you blame the company for your lack of skills. I order from Signature all the time to include a shower rod and I can hang from mine.

Looks like your need to learn how to install brackets into tile properly...

I had a problem with a similar product, and, following their simple return instructions, had a full refund in a few days. Not sure why you're having problems...

So, if you didn't like it, why did you install it? I think you must be leaving out some information here - Signature Hardware does accept returns and they do give refunds.
