why isn't the theremin directly mixed in? of course you put it on speaker, so everyone can hear it, but imho there is no reason to record it from the speaker.

"Mon ami z'il est a la guerre." Try Scriabin's Etude Op. 42, No. 5 in C sharp minor.
-
Never heard of this instrument. Must say, before I saw what was going on I thought it was someone humming!
Much like you would expect of Bobby McFerrin minus the tapping on his chest and other acoustics. :)

Wow, very moving. Even for someone like me who listens to shitty goregrind and black metal.

I didn't know music could make you cry.
-
Well done. I found the music very emotionally evocative and kind of sad.
-
I still don't unterstand how you can create such music with that thing O.O
-
hört sich ein bisschen an als ob jemand das summen würde.
-
yep

Agreed to the MAXIMUM EXTENT OF AGREEMENT.

Impresive, i am a thereminist from Chile, my dream is getting the etherave pro, but since moog dont produce it anymore the cost its only rising. Congrats randy, beautiful piece

What a beautiful piece and so well suited for the theremin. I love the theremin but only in a select few genres. Almost felt like it needed some more echo and/or reverb to give the theremin a more ethereal tone, though. At any rate, the pitch, vibrato, and blend were spot on. I'll definitely pass this one along.

fantastic, loved it all the way! The sound is magnificent!
-
Yes, we are playing flugelhorns as it helps with the overall blend of the piece. Enjoy!
-
nice
-
Are the two brass players on the right playing flugel horns?
-
Captivating collaboration with a high caliber brass quintet.
-
I really like your tone in this one.
-
Awesome work, my friend. I'm glad to see/hear something recent from you.

Very well done! I'd love to see more collaborations from you!
Oh man.
I was eating a can of corn (classy, I know) while browsing my subscriptions, you know, just chillin', not thinking much. Clicked this link, still not thinking much, "oh hey ooo6 has a small orchestral accompaniment, thass' cool", music starts...
I just freeze with a forkful of corn half in my mouth and nearly choke.
Amazing stuff, man.

I love the theremin! I just wish more people knew that it is a legitimate instrument, not just "a neat science project"
