Porsche at New York Fashion Week - The Model Lounge

In a few days, New York's Fashion Week will come to an end. Although Fashion Week highlights the future of the industry, the highlife of being a professional model isn't as great as it may seem. Most models spend the days prior and during fashion week running between appointments, auditions, and shows - sometimes 15 to 20 times in a day.

To assist the models, Porsche Cars North America teamed up with the exclusive New York based Model Lounge to help models get around the city. A fleet of new Porsche Cayennes and Panameras were used to get the models to and from their appointments and fashion shows.

i think it is great that they have provided sanctuary for these models. so many of these girls fall in with gangs and it really is only because they have nowhere else to go. imagine- no one has thought to just give them a place to be themselves, without fear of having to fend for their lives. now they can just focus on their work and being a good example to attractive women everywhere.

Its advertising for porsche.. Most people buy porsche to attract the opposite sex, so when they see hot models in porsches... they want to be part of that scene as well and therefore buy porsche over say.. a ferrari..
