iPhone 4 720p video demo - 770mb - 10min driving in Orlando, FL

Wanted to take a quick test drive on my new iPhone 4.

File took up 770mbs of space for 10 minutes of footage.

Wanted to see how the video quality / sound quality / battery life / were like when filming on the iPhone.

I was surprised at how good the quality turned out. Although the video was shaky, the capture quality was great...even when blown up on my HDTV. Also, the sound picked up well. I was afraid the stereo would have been too loud for the phone to capture nicely....but it came in clear. The only main fix I would like to see in the near future is a built in video stabilizer.

Forgot to catch the battery percentage before and after the video. Will make another test video shortly.

I have a question for poster akolozvary and a suggest.

1. What was the % battery used for this ten minute video?

2. I suggest you should post the storage space amount 770MB in the video description as well as battery life, so people can estimate the amount of time they have to record their video at a trip or an event. This would be very informative and helpful to us all who are looking for samples

The phone was warm after 10mins of recording, but it surprisingly didn't take much battery life away from what I recall. I'll make another video with a snapshot of the battery info in the beginning of the video and then a snapshot of the battery info at the end.

@na4kow Can't remember which song, but know who it's from. DJ DB. If you go to DJ DB(dot)com, you can listen to some of his track there. If you youtube / google rorshak you can listen to his latest tunes.

Great video, the quality of it look's very good despite the shakiness. Did it take up much harddrive space on the phone?

@javedb2 It is possible to e-mail videos to your YouTube account from any mobile phone. I haven't tried this feature out yet and am not sure if there is a size limitation when uploading large files over 3G network. I saved the video onto my computer and uploaded it from there.
