Tower Bridge was completed in 1894, after eight years of construction. However, many people don't realise why it was even built in the first place, or why it is so different from London's other bridges. Check the video for visual information!

  • @Dolphindream15 There's an exhibition in the towers about the bridge. and you can cross the two footbridges at the top; you can also see the original lifting engines. There's a charge though.

  • @Dolphindream15 It's not closed. The two footbridges at the top did close years ago, but you can now cross them for a charge (it's part of the exhibition about the bridge in the towers).
