I saw this lot by accident up in Boston when they were supporting The Wedding Present, they were great, so much so that I immediately bought their CDs. They are absolutely top line and as far as the inverted indie snobbery of 'it's only good when hardly anyone has heard of them' - bollocks to that! I hope these ladies get the success their talent deserves!

@xxshotgunsinnersxx i totally agree!! i hate when people stop liking bands just because they have gained recognition for their hard work. its ridiculous, like you can only make good music if you live of tinned beens the rest of your life! its not seeling out, its creating the circumstances where you can afford to carry on making music.
-
actually...them being famous wouldn't suck..it'd only mean that they could continue making music and live a comfortable life. just because you make music doesn't mean you get money. case in point, they're touring in a van right now...them being famous wouldn't be a bad thing.

a hot one too.
They[GIC] should deserve fame
instead of those pop artists like pussy cat dolls or britney spears
who just make songs about their ass and sex and fliritng and stuff...
girl in a coma deserves their place -_-"
