Sublime! Had the privilege of singing and recording with Isla back in the 1960s. See the MacColl/Seeger/Parker Ballad of John Axon (she sings the Fireman's Lament), and AL Lloyd's Bold Nelson's Praise. And did you know Isla was a champion knitter; we joked about her Fair Isla Patterns! Miss her real rotten.

This is one of my favourite folk songs of all time. I've heard it in my deepest of deep dreams where lines of poetry drifted around the melody like smoke. I'm happy you liked it. :)
