Iran would be defeated on air land and sea in about 8 months with the opposition those survivors of the green revolution taking over the country and the remaining revolutionary guards fighting for a longer period, Lebanon and Syria would collapse and Iraq would end up with a Sunni and Shia conflict that would end up in a greater conflict in the area. Well at least we know that the Americans, British and Germans build good ships. Imagine a US patrol frigate from the 1960s still in service in Iran. It also shows the ingenuity of the Iranian Navy that they are able to keep the ships in service without support from the countries that built them.
