It's important to remember that this film was such a low budget, maybe a $1,000 dollars, if you compare it to some of the trash which had a budget of $50,000,000 +, it really is quite remarkable what a couple of filmmakers can accomplish. I agree that the special effects are poor and unrealistic but this film just didn't have access to the technology required to make effective use of CGI, especially in the late 90s, when CGI usage was pretty much restricted to Hollywood/Big Budget films.

@ConfusedSponge Patricia McBride is Jon's mother. She's plays the lady on the phone who's cat gets eaten. She also played Aunt Tess in Woodchipper Massacre and was also in a deleted scene of Cannibal Campout.

The only thing worse than the quality of the movie is the horrific compression job someone did on this clip. Honestly, I'm having trouble making anything out except a seething mass of blurred, blocky artifacts flowing around the screen.

I only want to see this movie because somebody told me about how abysmally awful it is, along with the first movie. I don't want to judge too quickly here, but this trailer suggests that it might even put Troll 2 to shame.
